Frequently Asked Questions About Our Products
What file type are the ebooks in?
We now have pdf and well as epub available. Right now the epub files are zipped so you will need a zip software to unzip the file before opening the epub. Winzip is one you can use. There are others. The epub file format can be opened on any device, in any software that opens that file format. It is a standard format used these days. There is no DRM (Digital Rights Management) on the ebooks purchased from us.
Can you tell me what some of the softwares are that will work with the ebooks?
Adobe Digital Editions, Bluefire Reader, Overdrive, Google Play, Calibre. Most of these are available for desktop, ipad, iphone. E-readers should be able to download them as well.
Can we download the ebooks?
Yes, you should receive an email with the download link to the e-book. If you do not, please check your spam folder and if it is not there then please contact us. Also when you register, you will have your own dashboard that will have the links to the downloads you purchase in there as well.
Accounts Deactivated
Please be advised that our website had a limitation of 1 year activity on accounts and has deactivated a number of accounts that were dormant. We have now changed that but it can still happen. Please keep a copy of your invoice and downloads where possible to not potentially lose it.
Shipping
Shipping is done on a flat rate basis and also based on where you live. All orders are shipped Canada Post. The store will automatically charge you 70.00 until it knows where you live. In order to know how much shipping is going to be you will have to create an account to let the “store” know where you live.
USA and International Orders
All orders are insured and tracked. If you wish to have it shipped a cheaper way (if possible), then insurance may not be applied or tracking. If this is done, we will not take responsibility for the order if it does not get to you and the order will not be replaced. If the order is insured and tracking is included, then the order will be replaced if it was not received. If the tracking says the order was delivered and you did not receive it, we can not replace the order and you would have to file a claim with Canada Post. We do not send out the tracking number of the order, but if you have not received your order within the time frame, please contact us and we will check on your order status and also send you the tracking number.
Canada Orders
All Canadian orders are insured and tracked and shipped tracked packet or expedited. What are the shipping costs? We charge a flat rate for shipping worldwide. Shipping to Western Canada is 30.00, Eastern Canada and the Territories is 35.00. Shipping to the USA is 35.00. Shipping everywhere else is 70.00. If you are only interested in a few booklets, please contact us and we will work out a price for shipping. We insure all of the packages we ship.
Other Shipping options:
We no longer ship anyway other than Canada Post. Since we are not in a major city, please add 1 day to the shipping time. All orders need to go to the major city and then are shipped from there. USA and International orders also have to clear customs before they will be sent on.
There is no refunds or exchanges on any products.
