This booklet deals with a means of achieving physical cleanliness in a way not possible through showering or bathing.  The health benefits, the social aspects and the usefulness in acclimatizing to the cold makes the Steam Bath an important adjunct to wilderness living, but not necessary to weekend camping.  some feel that Steam bathing imposes excessive environmental importance.  Everyone is likely to agree that this activity should not be carried out in parks.
